The Experience

A long exchange, no checklist of questions. We listen first. You tell us how you met, the place you have chosen, the things you want to see appear and those you would rather leave aside. By the end, we usually know whether what we do corresponds to what you are looking for.

If you wish, we welcome you at the studio. There, we look at physical prints — baryta paper, fine art prints, signature albums — so the conversation continues around matter rather than around screens. Many decisions are made at this moment, naturally, while holding an object in hand.

In the weeks leading up to the day, we prepare with your planner or directly with you: an hour-by-hour timing, key locations, light constraints, permits where required. For weddings in unusual venues, we visit beforehand when possible. Nothing is left to improvisation.

On the day itself, we arrive at preparation and stay through the heart of the evening. Double camera bodies and lenses, dual card writing on each camera, real-time backup to external drive at each break. For portraits, we step in briefly, in a low voice, and then step back out.

Every image is hand-retouched, one by one, without preset or filter. Four to six weeks later, a private gallery is delivered — accessible for life, in high resolution. If you commissioned a signature album, we present it to you at the studio whenever possible. Otherwise, it is hand-packed and shipped.
